Your account
You must be old enough to use TalksThat in your jurisdiction and are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your credentials secure and tell us about unauthorized access.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant TalksThat a licence to host, encode, display and distribute it so the service can function. You confirm you have the rights to what you publish, including any music.
Acceptable use
No illegal content, harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, spam, scams, or attempts to break the platform's security. Violations can lead to content removal, feature limits or account termination.
Marketplace
Sellers are responsible for their listings, fulfilment and legal compliance. Orders remain pending until a payment provider is connected; TalksThat is not a party to the sale beyond providing the platform.
Live rooms
Rooms are persistent community spaces: they stay open and chattable around the clock even when nobody is broadcasting. Owners can appoint co-hosts and moderators, transfer ownership, schedule broadcasts and archive a room. Hosts moderate their rooms and can hide messages or ban viewers. Platform moderation may archive rooms that breach the guidelines. Chat history and recordings are deleted on the retention schedule the room owner configures.
Gifts and virtual items
Gifts are a paid, non-refundable way to support a creator, not an investment, deposit or stored-value instrument. Prices shown at checkout include a platform fee that TalksThat retains; the remainder is credited to the recipient's TalksThat balance. Only room owners, co-hosts and members the owner has explicitly approved can receive gifts. We may reverse a gift and debit the corresponding balance in cases of fraud, chargeback, payment reversal or policy breach.
Creator balances and payouts
A TalksThat balance is a record of amounts owed to you — it is not money held in your name and is not available instantly. Before any payout you must complete onboarding and identity verification (KYC) with our payment processor and provide valid payout details. Balances may be withheld while a dispute, chargeback or investigation is open, and unresolved negative balances may be offset against future earnings.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms and will surface material changes in-app. You can stop using TalksThat and delete your account at any time.
